A historical independent Theatre in the heart of Bath.
The Mission Theatre is a Grade II listed venue in Bath’s city centre that is overflowing with historical charm. Formerly a catholic chapel, the building has had many uses and served many communities throughout the past, and continues to do so today — now bringing vibrant theatrical talent and fantastic events from all over the country to the people of Bath.
Now with its future assured for another 97 years by a Community Asset Transfer granted in 2021, we can continue to host the very best of performing arts for people of all ages. Resident Next Stage Theatre Company presents memorable productions throughout the year usually staged in the theatre’s immersive thrust and in-the-round configurations.
So come and visit, see a show, and get in touch to see how you can get involved with this thriving theatre community.

JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM!
Every week The Mission Theatre endeavors to bring both local and global talent to the people of Bath. We wouldn’t be able to do this as regularly as we do without the help of our volunteer team. As a charitable organisation with limited funds we rely on the kind donations of time by our volunteers to staff our shows and be a friendly face for audiences.
